In the heart of Papamoa thriving coastal community, you’ll find the very first New Shoots’ Children’s Centre. This is where our journey began, creating a place where children could learn through play, build strong relationships and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
Designed with Papamoa’s relaxed coastal setting in mind, our centre is made up of two architecturally designed, bach-inspired buildings, with dedicated spaces for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
Generous outdoor play spaces give tamariki plenty of room to explore, create, move and connect with nature, with the landscape becoming part of everyday learning
Play is at the heart of learning at New Shoots Papamoa. Our spacious, park-like outdoor areas invite tamariki to follow their interests, take on challenges and explore the world around them rain or shine.
As part of the Enviroschools programme, and through our own Kura Ngahere (Forest Kindy), children build a relationship with the natural world while developing confidence, independence and curiosity.
Relationships with whānau are an important part of life at New Shoots Papamoa. From Matariki celebrations and picnic days to, our centre events bring families, tamariki and kaiako together and help create the strong sense of community Papamoa is known for.
